The Toronto Vintners Club is a non-profit organization that has been hosting wine-tasting events, for first-timers and aficionados, since it was founded in 1975.

 

Based in Downtown Toronto, we meet on the third Tuesday of the month, nine times a year, to taste and discuss different wines. Our events feature wines that have been selected to explore a specific theme. The theme could be based on a region, a grape varietal, a specific winemaker or any topic that our wine buyers think would make an interesting experience for our members. Each tasting introduces eight wines that illustrate the theme, and is led by a wine expert who guides us through the terroir, vintage and characteristics of each wine.

 

Our events are a fun and informative way to taste wines that aren’t easily available and to meet other enthusiasts. We have an extensive wine cellar, curated by our dedicated and knowledgeable wine buyers. As we do not have an industry affiliation that may limit our wine-buying activity, we can acquire wines from any producer. Plus, by professionally storing the wines for years, members are able to discover wines that are at or near their peak drinking window versus only tasting new releases.
